Students may be registered in a maximum of two individual events, which do not necessarily have to be from different patterns.
 

Debate Events

Congressional Debate (SC)

Varsity & Novice:
Public Forum Debate (PF)
Lincoln Douglas Debate (LD)
Policy Debate (TD)
Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum Debates will use the November topics.

Students may not be registered in both speech events and debate events concurrently, and may not be registered in more than one debate event.
 

Supplemental Events

Impromptu Speaking (IPS)
Extemporaneous Duo (XDU)

Supplemental events are available for students who do not advance to elimination rounds. Registration for these events will be held immediately after postings are released for the first set of elimination rounds. We reserve the right and sole discretion in limiting or ending registration for supplemental events at any time thereafter.
